Nikon intorduces successor D2H

Today Nikon officially introduces the "D2Hs", the successor to their high speed digital sports camera the D2H.
For those that hoped there would be an increase in resolution...tough luck. Nikon remains conservative and has put the same 4mp JFET LBCAST sensor as in the D2H. This means that for people who want a fast, high resolution camera it's now definitaly time to switch over to the competition because this is as good as it's going to get at Nikon for the coming time.

Prison not Exciting Enough

In a report bij the Dutch Ministry of Justice detainees complain about the monotonous way of life in prison. Among other things detainees claim they aren't given enough time out of their cells and that they get bored during the weekends.

What is wrong with these people? What do they expect, you're a convicted criminal and you're supposed to be punished! Life in general was never meant to be easy, and certainly not life in prison!!! Only in Holland...

This is the end of my beloved Nikon D1, or at least of the shutter curtain. Manufactured to last some 150,000 exposures I guess this is it...for now at least.

This is what you get when the shutter curtain flops out of place, might I also mention the timing...you're all set to go for a promising shoot and right after the first few shots you're in PJ Hell.

Topman Siemens wil niet meer met Rolex op foto



BERLIJN - Klaus Kleinfeld, de nieuwe ceo van het Duitse technologieconcern Siemens, is niet blij meer met zijn Rolex. Zijn bedrijf moet op de kleintjes letten aan en kondigde een massa-ontslag aan. Zijn dure klokje is op officiële bedrijfsfoto's weggeretoucheerd.
